In the crowded marketplace of gun show promoters, it is crucial to have a savvy, well seasoned promoter strategize, coordinate and implement the success of a show. At Classic Arms Productions, we strive to keep the focus on quality shows that are well attended due to the quality of our exhibitors and their merchandise and our intensive advertising.
The Bean family of gun shows was created by Ernie and Helen Bean of Great Southern Gun & Knife shows in 1984. Shawn Bean started helping run GSGS in 2003.
Great Southern expanded so quickly that Victor and Todd Bean started Southern Classic Gun & Knife Shows in 1988.
Again, expansion created another show, High Caliber Gun & Knife Shows in 1992. Todd and Mary Bean run the High Caliber Shows while Victor run the North Florida Shows.
Sondra Bean Hewett started helping run the shows in 1993 and formed Classic Arms Productions Gun & Knife shows in 1995. Ben Hewett started helping run the shows in 2005 and Kristen Dodd (a 3rd generation Bean) started in 2018.
In all, over 100 shows per year have added up to thousands of shows produced by the Bean family. Classic Arms will surpass the 850 show mark this year in 2024.
These shows utilize their experience in advertising via Billboards, Newspapers, Radio, Social Media, Internet Marketing and more to maximize attendance by both exhibitors and customers to buy, sell or trade guns, knives, ammo and related merchandise at the lowest prices and best selection.
